"Notre sujet est la femme, notre but est la photographie, et la question qui se pose d’abord : est-ce que la photographie est encore en mesure de nous surprendre pour traiter ce sujet qui l’est toujours ?"
A partir de 2005, Véronique Bourgoin dirige le projet EU Women soutenu par la Commission Européenne avec la Fabrique des Illusions & Atelier Reflexe et ses partenaires européens : Silverbridge, Fotohof, Cobertura Photo, Dirk Bakker's Boeken, Support Agentur, Agence Editoriale Internationale. Un groupe de jeunes photographes de nationalités et d'origines différentes mènent à l'occasion d'un workshop à l'Atelier Reflexe, une création photographique autour du thème de la condition de la femme en Europe. Des artistes confirmés internationaux sont sélectionnés pour leur approche personnelle du sujet. Le résultat est montré dans une édition, un DVD et à l'occasion d'un programme d'expositions internationales.
